About us

ABOUT US

Here at Hill Village Bible church it is our desire to do all to the Glory of God. One way we do this is by keeping God’s Word, the Bible, central in every part of our ministry. We believe the Bible is practical for us today. We preach and teach a faithful message to help people come to know the Savior and grow in their faith.

What We Believe

Among other Biblical truths, we maintain the following:

  1. The divine plenary inspiration of both the Old and New Testament Scriptures in their entirety as the only written word of God, without error in all that it affirms, and the only infallible rule of faith and practice. We also affirm the power of God’s word to accomplish His purpose of salvation. The message of the Bible is addressed to all men and women. For God’s revelation in Christ and in Scripture is unchangeable.

Note: Realizing the controversy that surrounds what English translation of the Bible should be used, we here at HVBC use the King James Version of the Bible in the classroom and from the pulpit.

  1. The Tri-unity of God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  2. The essential, absolute, eternal Deity, and real and proper, but sinless humanity of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
  3. His virgin birth.
  4. His substitutionary, expiatory death, in that He gave His life “a ransom for all.”
  5. His resurrection from among the dead in the body in which He was crucified, His ascension back into heaven, and the Second Coming of this same Jesus in power and great glory.
  6. Man’s total ruin because of the Fall.
  7. Salvation, the effect of regeneration by the Spirit and the Word, not by works, but by grace through faith.
  8. The everlasting life of the saved, and the everlasting suffering of the lost.
    Distinctives:

    1. We are Dispensational, therefore we are pre-tribulational, and pre-millennial in our escatology.
    2. We are seperatists concerning our associations.
    3. We are baptistic concerning our mode and candidates for baptism, as well as in our church polity.

OUR STAFF

DANIEL BOYCE

PASTOR

Our pastor is Dan Boyce. Pastor Dan was saved at 13 through the ministry of Evangelist Hyman Appleman and has been in the ministry since 1995. He has pastored churches in NJ, NY and NH. He is a graduate of Fundamental Bible Institute, and Andersonville Theological Seminary. Pastor Dan came to NH in January of 2010 because of a strong burden to bring the Gospel to New England. He has a desire to reach the community with this life changing Gospel, as well as to disciple believers. He seeks to help the believer live out the Bible in their everyday life, so his messages are very practical and relevant for today. Pastor Dan has a heart for missions and serves on two different mission boards and has traveled to many foreign countries to preach the Gospel, train national pastors and encourage the missionary. Pastor Dan has been married to Sandy since 1983 and they have two adult sons.
